The shared dream of Margaret Rdzak and Al Chechik, The Artesian House welcomed its first guests on June 14, 1996. Less than six weeks later, Margaret was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away on October 20 at age 49.
The cards and notes that followed her death offered a treasury of thoughts reflecting the legacy she had left--as a teacher, colleague, mentor, patient, neighbor, friend. Out of them, Al created a book, “Remembering Margaret” to share the sentiments expressed by those whose lives she had touched. Effective June 3, 2013, Christine Markley & Dennis Clark will become the new owners of Artesian House Bed & Breakfast. They plan on continuing the legacy of the Artesian House that Al & Margaret had started. |
